Logo Safe Zones

You should determine the ‘safe zone’ for the logo by positioning the icon as below. Always give the logo some breathing space – don’t crowd it with other visual elements.


Logo Misuse

You have no idea how much it hurt us making these examples. Nevertheless, we have to bring it up. Every time our logo is abused like this, a marketing team member dies a little on the inside.


DO NOT use shadows or effects on the logo.


DO NOT create hybrids of the logo. Never ever.


DO NOT stretch, distort or alter the logo in any way.


DO NOT use the logo or mark as a mask.


DO NOT use custom colours, shadows or effects.


DO NOT rotate, reflect or skew the logo orientation.


Our eggplant, purple, white, and cloud are the dominant colors for our brand. Want a highlight? We have a secondary palette for graphs, charts, diagrams, etc. There is also a third set of colors for those nice pale backgrounds you will see around our website, ads, and socials. Careful when using our colors; ensure you use the correct variations and only where appropriate. When in doubt, reach out to the marketing team.

Secondary Shades

These fine shades are the support act to the main headliners. They have their purpose but are not often seen. The two darker eggplant colors are often seen in the strategy factory or as backgrounds to features. The dusty purple is for body copy (the text you are reading right now), and the yellow, a rare text highlight.

Secondary Palette

Let’s be clear. These colors are like red cordial; a little bit is fantastic, too much makes you crazy. It has a real impact when highlighting words, and it’s ok to use for icons. But please – use its power for good, not evil.

Pastel Colours

These are colors that never take center stage. They are strictly a support act. Only to be used as backgrounds to highlight a chapter or hero images. See our features pages for examples.

Fonts and Typography

Sometimes, your everyday fonts just don’t cut it. So, here’s a couple of fonts that have a very specific purpose. Be cautious when wielding these. But, when used wisely, they can enhance a design beautifully.


Poppins Semi-Bold

Perfect for headings, all great and small. If you want to make a statement with, for, or about Cascade, this is the font for you.
